KAMODO CANVASS
Privacy notice
How we handle information across our website and service.
Last updated:
1. About this notice
This notice describes how information is handled when you visit the Kamodo Canvass website, contact us, or use the service through your agency. Agency-managed information is also subject to the agency’s policies and any applicable written agreement with us. Your agency determines what operational information it collects and how it uses that information.
2. Information you provide
When you contact us or request a demo, you may provide your name, email address, agency or organization, role, and message. Our website forms prepare a draft in your email app; you must send that email to deliver the inquiry to us. Please do not include sensitive case information in website inquiries.
3. Accounts and agency information
When your agency uses the service, information may include account and membership details, assigned roles, case information, canvass areas, property information, outcomes, notes, and records of activity. The information involved depends on the features your agency uses and what authorized users submit. Direct questions about agency records to the agency responsible for them.
4. How information is used
Information is used to respond to inquiries, arrange demonstrations, provide and support the service, manage authorized access, troubleshoot problems, and protect the service against misuse. Agency information is processed to support the agency’s use of Kamodo Canvass, subject to the applicable agreement and legal requirements.
5. Technical information and browser storage
Hosting and service providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, request times, and diagnostic logs when delivering and protecting the website or service. Browser storage may also support preferences such as your selected color theme and, where applicable, authentication. You can manage browser storage through your browser settings; clearing or blocking it may affect saved preferences or sign-in functionality.
6. Service providers and sharing
Information may be handled by providers that support hosting, authentication, data storage, email, and other service functions. Within an agency, information is available according to the access authorized for that agency. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when necessary to respond to security incidents or protect legal rights. External services you choose to use, including your email or sign-in provider, have their own privacy notices.
7. Retention and agency records
Retention depends on the purpose of the information, the applicable agency agreement, and legal or operational requirements. Agency records may be subject to records-retention, disclosure, or evidence-preservation obligations. Ending account access does not necessarily delete those records. Contact your agency administrator about retention, export, or deletion of agency-managed information.
8. Questions and requests about your information
You can ask about information you have provided directly to us, including requesting a correction or deletion, through our contact page. Requests concerning agency-managed accounts or operational records should go to your agency administrator first. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request. Available rights and our ability to fulfill a request depend on applicable law and any relevant recordkeeping obligations.
9. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the website and service develop. The revised notice will appear on this page with an updated date. Additional notices will be provided where required by applicable law or an agency agreement.
10. Questions
For privacy questions or requests, visit our contact page or contact your Kamodo Canvass representative. For questions about agency records, contact your agency administrator.
